A couple of crafters trying something new.

In 2012 I made the best decision of my life and asked Kendel to marry me. In 2013, when we bought our first home, I began to realize I had married a crafter who would constantly surprise me if she was left unsupervised. I would come home and find a house renovation project that I had agreed to “someday” was now underway. I began to learn just how many shades and sizes of glitter exist in the world. And in the interest of saving money, I began to learn about the art of DIY home renovations (and updating an older home according to code).

Several years and two kids later, my home repair DIY efforts have shifted into a woodworking hobby, and I’ve seen my incredibly creative wife craft some truly beautiful and unexpected items. While an actual business and being self-employed is still kind of a nebulous dream, I thought it was time to at least begin documenting and building a portfolio.

Let’s see what the future holds.
